Noticeboard

We are currently experiencing a shortage of Practice Nurse appointments.  This is likely to continue for the next few weeks and may affect appointments for areas such as chronic disease monitoring, smears, ear syringing.  We appreciate this may be an inconvenience for you and apologise for this and if you have to wait longer than usual for an appointment.  We will do our best to see any patients who require to be seen urgently so please do not worry.

You are still able to make appointments with the Treatment Room Nurse and Phlebotomists.

 Repeat Prescriptions

If you are on long term medication you will be provided with a repeat prescription slip. This should be handed in at the reception desk, posted (enclose a stamped addressed envelope, please) or faxed.

Alternatively you can order online via the link at the top of this page.

For security reasons, telephone requests cannot be accepted.

Your prescription will be available for collection in 2 full working days from receipt but 3 full working days if collected by pharmacist. If you hand in your prescription on a Friday, it will not be available until Tuesday of the following week. Prescriptions may be collected Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 18:00.

We would appreciate if you do  not telelphone to check if your prescription is ready for collection.

Medication Reviews.

Patients should make routine appointments for review when asked by the Doctor signing their prescription. Patients will be informed when they pick up their prescriptions if a review appointment needs to be made.

Please allow 2 working days between ordering and collection of your repeat prescription.

Security Gates

Our neighbours have insisted on having security gates which will be locked between 19:00 and 07:00 Monday to Friday and at weekends. A box for prescription requests is now attached to the gates and will be emptied on a daily basis.

Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
