IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ
Access to Patient Services Monday 15th October up to and Including Wednesday 17th October 2018
As part of an initiative across NHS Lothian, our computer system is to be upgraded over a 3 day period. As a result, we will be unable to offer our usual range of GP and nursing services from
Monday 15th to Wednesday 17th of October 2018.
To ensure you have a sufficient supply of your regular medication
please order prescriptions no later than Friday 12th October 2018.
During this period there will be emergency appointments only available and we will be unable to issue prescriptions or check patient results.
If you are on long term medication you will be provided with a repeat prescription slip. This should be handed in at the reception desk, posted (enclose a stamped addressed envelope, please) or faxed.
Alternatively you can order online via the link at the top of this page.
For security reasons, telephone requests cannot be accepted.
Your prescription will be available for collection in 2 full working days from receipt but 3 full working days if collected by pharmacist. If you hand in your prescription on a Friday, it will not be available until Tuesday of the following week. Prescriptions may be collected Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 18:00.
We would appreciate if you do not telelphone to check if your prescription is ready for collection.
Patients should make routine appointments for review when asked by the Doctor signing their prescription. Patients will be informed when they pick up their prescriptions if a review appointment needs to be made.
Please allow 2 working days between ordering and collection of your repeat prescription.
Our neighbours have insisted on having security gates which will be locked between 19:00 and 07:00 Monday to Friday and at weekends. A box for prescription requests is now attached to the gates and will be emptied on a daily basis.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
